I found out about this cookbook from watching the health series by It is Written called "Take Charge of Your Health". The author and chef of the book Dr Fay Kazzi made an appearance throughout the series talking about health, diet and foods particularly following a plant based diet which I follow. I was really impressed with her knowledge so I decided to purchase the cookbook for a friend who is vegan and into health. The book arrived very quickly and is so brightly colored and well put together (which the author took the pictures herself). The recipes are simple as well. I can't wait to get one for myself! I presented the cookbook to my friend who was really excited to receive it. I highly recommend it to anyone who is wanting to cook yummy and simple plant based meals.
I haven't cooked anything in the book yet ,but after going through the recipes they look so good and I can't wait to try them.

After viewing the "Take Charge of Your Health Series", I was so encouraged to purchased this cookbook. I really love it and It's beautiful. I love the texture of the the hardcover, it feels velvety. The front cover is beautiful illustrated; each recipe is very simple and easy to be understood; and each dish is beautifully illustrated and vividly colorful. What I love best about this cookbook is the author's introduction to prepare you for a special delight in healthful cooking. Amazing! I'm glad I truly made this purchase. Thank you so much.
Would have liked more low Sodium recipes.
