George Vandeman, founder of the It Is Written ministry and telecast, would often invite his viewers to a special part of the program by saying, “Here now is Marilyn Cotton to sing for us.” When her beautiful rendition was finished, her smile projected love and grace, as viewers would hear Pastor Vandeman’s voice saying, “Thank you, Marilyn.”
Professionally trained, Marilyn Cotton would undoubtedly have been a very popular opera singer, even a “star” in her day. But she chose to dedicate her musical talents to serving God and to being a channel of love, light, and blessing to others. Marilyn passed away in 2016 and this special audio CD set has been created to honor her memory and serves as a tribute to her unique and stellar music ministry.
